A view of El Rosario, an abandoned gold mining town hugging the side of the mountain, now one of two visitor centers for La Tigra National Park.  The road from the valley to El Rosario is a hair raising, white knuckle ride over extremely steep and deeply rutted road.

La Tigra National Park, Honduras' first national park designated 1980, is a second and primary growth cloud forest and noted for the Resplendent Quetzals.  And no, we did not see any!
