Chanticleer Inn

“Outstanding B&B Hospitality and Service”

Your Hosts: Ellen Campbell & Howie Wilcox

Ellen and Howie look forward to sharing their home with you at the Chanticleer Inn Bed & Breakfast. They and their staff strive to provide a welcoming, restful, quiet and fun-filled atmosphere.

Before being innkeepers, Howie and Ellen were successful high-tech professionals in the Silicon Valley.  Now they keep just as busy with the inn while pursuing some of their passions and interests.

Ellen is active with the Ashland's Bed and Breakfast Network; tries to find time to attend yoga classes and Ashland Garden Club meetings. In the Fall of '07, Ellen published her first breakfast cookbook.

Howie is an avid nature lover. Every spring, he scouts for the best wildflower and bird viewing sites in the Rogue Valley! He is a volunteer teacher at North Mountain Park Nature Center, where he's been named Volunteer of the Month in Nov. '07.

They enjoy being innkeepers, because their guests are so wonderful and interesting. They also love the ideal location of the B&B — in a quiet historic neighborhood, walking distance to all the theaters, restaurants and stores in downtown.
