General Policies

• The Chanticleer is a non-smoking establishment
• Children ages 10+ are welcome
• We have a two-night minimum stay over the weekends during the OSF season.  However, single-night stays occasionally fit into our calendar. Please check with us for availability

Our Green and Fragrance Policy

We use “green” cleaning solutions and products that are non-toxic to the environment and to humans.  Chanticleer Inn is fragrance-free. 

We do NOT:

• Use potpourri or mothballs
• Spray for pests
• Burn wood, incense or candles
• Use perfumes and aftershave lotions; and we ask our guests not to use fragrance also

Rates

• All room rates are based on double occupancy; $30 is charged for each additional person per night; and $15 is charged for 1-night stays from June to mid-October
• Quoted rates do not include occupancy tax of 10%
• Check-in is 3-6 PM. Other arrangements may be made with innkeeper, provided 24 hours notice is given
• Check-out is 11 AM. A late check-out fee of $10/hour may be charged when guests leave past 11:00 am

Deposits and Reservations

• Reservations are guaranteed with a deposit of one night’s lodging for each room at the time of booking
• We accept checks for deposits.
• We confirm reservations either by email or by mail.  If by mail, we send two copies of the confirmation statement to acknowledge receipt of deposit. We would like one of the confirmation statements signed and returned to guarantee your booking
• To hold a reservation we take Visa and Mastercard.  For payments of both deposit and balance due, we prefer checks, traveler's checks, or cash.

Cancellations and Changes in Reservations:

• All cancellations are subject to a $45 cancellation fee
• Early cancellations
Deposits will be refunded for cancellations of regular (non-group) reservations made 31 days prior to arrival date, less the $45 cancellation fee
• Late cancellations
Full payment for all nights reserved is required for all cancellations made 30 days of less before arrival
• No credit or refunds for early departures or late arrivals
• No Shows: Full price for each night of the entire reservation will be charged if a guest fails to arrive
• Cancellation fee of 3% may be charged if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of booking
• Unless cancelled within 24 hours of making the reservation, the terms of this agreement become mutually binding

Group Policy

• Reservations for three or more rooms require a prepayment equal to one night for each room, and a full payment of all nights 60 days in advance of arrival. The entire payment is nonrefundable, when less than 60 days notice is given for any changes or cancellations
• A $45 fee will be withheld from deposit for processing each cancelled room when cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to arrival date
• Modifications resulting in a shortened stay or diminished number of rooms used made less than 60 days prior to arrival date will require payment for full reservation.

Pet Policy

Our garden-level rooms, Jardin, Pertelote and Rosette are designated for traveling dogs with prior approval. Pets are not allowed in the main part of house.  Pets may be left alone in the room only if they are in crates. Any pet causing a disturbance to other guests must be removed from the premises upon request. An additional fee of $10/day charged for each pet.
